This lock works incredibly well - I wasn’t sure whether it would given it’s just ice holding the lock together but it really does.
Filling it was easy and I put it in the freezer overnight. I think I must have covered the expansion hole in the freezer because in the morning the rod had popped out about an inch from the tube but it was rock solid still.
I used this as part of a lying spread eagle and found myself held there for almost two hours. I suspect this would have been at least another half an hour if the rod had stayed in all the way when it froze. I am a strong guy and there was still absolutely no way I could bust out of this.
Bottom line is, this is great for self bondage but don’t go into it lightly. This will take time to unlock and you won’t be getting out before it melts. And always have a backup release in case of emergencies.
